A progress bar helps respondents see how far they’ve come in a form and how much is left. This improves user engagement and increases form completion rates, especially for longer forms.

### Log In and Open Your Form
Start by logging into your Formester account. Open an existing form or create a new one with the fields and questions you need.

### Access Form Behaviour Settings
Click on the **gear icon** at the top of the form editor. This will open the **Form Behaviour** settings where you can customize how users interact with your form.

### Enable Progress Indicators
Look for the option **“Show progress indicators”** and toggle it on. This will add a progress bar to your form, allowing respondents to track their progress as they move through the questions.

### Publish and Share
Once you’ve enabled the progress bar, click **Publish** to save your changes. Share the form via URL or embed it on your website. Respondents will now see a clear visual indicator of their progress, making the form experience smoother and more engaging.

Adding a progress bar can significantly reduce form abandonment and improve the overall user experience for your respondents.
