# Save and continue

# How to Enable Save and Continue Submissions
[**Save and Continue Submissions**](https://formester.com/features/save-and-continue/) lets respondents pause filling out a form and continue later without losing their progress. This feature is especially useful for long surveys, multi-step applications, or forms that require detailed input. Respondents can also use a unique link to allow multiple users to fill out the form one after another in real time.

### Steps to Enable Save and Continue

### Step 1: Open Your Form
Log in to your Formester account and open the form you want to edit.

### Step 2: Click the Gear Icon
In the top right corner of the builder, click the **Gear Icon** next to the **Publish** button.

### Step 3: Go to Save and Continue
From the settings menu, select **Save and Continue**.

### Step 4: Toggle Save and Resume
Find the option **Save and Resume** and toggle it **on**. This will allow respondents to pause and continue their submission later.

### Step 5: Publish and Share
Click **Publish** to save the changes and share the form link with your respondents.

### How Save and Continue Works
* **Resume in Real Time**: Respondents can save their progress and continue filling out the form later without losing data.

* **Unique Link for Multiple Users**: You can generate a special link that allows multiple users to save and continue their submissions one after another. This is ideal for group applications, event registrations, or collaborative data entry.
