Send Form Notification on Partial Submission

Send Form Notification When a User Leaves the Form

Using the "Partial Submission Received" trigger in Autoresponder

Step‑by‑Step Guide

  1. Enable “Partial Submission” (or any Save & Continue option) in Form Settings.

  1. Navigate to Automate → Autoresponder for the form.

  1. Click “Add Autoresponder” to start a new Autoresponder.

  1. In “When should this send?” select “Partial Submission Received”.

  1. Fill in the Name, Subject, and Body of the email you want to receive.

  1. In Email Field choose “Form Owner Email” so the notification goes to your inbox.

  1. Select the SMTP Integration you wish to use for sending the email.

  1. Switch to the Advance tab and set Delay Time (recommended 15 minutes). A shorter delay may fire while the user is merely idle; a longer delay could miss quick drop‑offs.

  1. Click “Save”. You’ll now receive an email whenever a visitor leaves the form without completing it for the configured delay period.

Tip: Test the workflow by filling out the form partially, waiting the set delay, and confirming you receive the notification.
