Spam protection
Spam submissions clutter your data and waste valuable time. To keep your forms clean and secure, Formester gives you three layers of spam protection:
- Google reCAPTCHA
- Cloudflare Turnstile
- Formester’s AI Spam Protection
You can use any one of these methods or combine them for extra safety.
Adding Spam Protection to Your Form
- Open your form in the Formester editor.
- Click Add Elements.
- Under Spam Protection, you will see reCAPTCHA and Turnstile.
- Select one and add it to your form.
- To enable AI Spam Protection, go to Form Settings and toggle it on.
Configuring Google reCAPTCHA
- Add the reCAPTCHA field.
- Open the properties panel.
- Edit the field label, such as “Verify you’re not a robot”.
- Publish your form.
This adds the classic checkbox or challenge for users.
Configuring Cloudflare Turnstile
- Add the Turnstile field.
- Open the properties panel.
- Customize the label if needed.
- Publish your form.
Turnstile works silently and does not require interaction in most cases.
Enabling Formester AI Spam Protection
Formester also provides AI-powered spam filtering, which detects bot-like submissions automatically.
- Go to your form’s Settings.
- Toggle on AI Spam Protection.
- This works in the background without affecting the user’s form experience.
AI Spam Protection is great for blocking suspicious entries even if someone bypasses basic verifications.

Publish and Test
- After enabling your chosen spam protection, click Publish.
- Test your form to confirm that everything works as expected.
