Monday.com Integration Setup Guide

Connect Formester to Monday.com to automatically sync form submissions directly to your boards, no manual data entry needed.


Prerequisites


  • A Formester account on a plan that includes Monday.com integration
  • A Monday.com account with at least one board created




Step 1: Find the Monday.com Integration


  1. Open your form in Formester
  2. Click the Integrations tab in the top navigation
  3. Search for "Monday" in the search bar or browse under the CRM category
  4. You'll see the Monday.com card. Click + Add Integration





Step 2: Connect Your Monday.com Account


A configuration sidebar will open.


Under Monday.com Account, click + Add a new account.


A popup will appear asking you to authorise Formester on Monday.com. Review the permissions and click Authorize.




Once authorised, your Monday.com workspace will appear in the account dropdown automatically.




Step 3: Configure the Integration


With your account connected, fill in the following:


Field

Description

Integration Mode

Create new item: Adds a new Monday.com item per submission.<br><br>Update existing item: Updates a specific item on each submission.

Board

The Monday.com board where data should go

Group

The group within that board

Item Name Field

The form field whose value becomes the item's name in Monday.com (Create mode only)

Column Mapping

Map your form fields to specific Monday.com columns (optional but recommended)


Click + Add Column under Column Mapping to map individual form fields to Monday.com columns.




Once everything is set, click Save Integration (or Update Integration if editing an existing one).




Step 4: Integration is Live


After saving, the Monday.com card on the Integrations page will show a green toggle confirming the integration is active.


You can use the menu on the card to manage or sync existing submissions.






Step 5: See Submissions Appear in Monday.com


Every new form submission will now create (or update) an item in your Monday.com board automatically, with the mapped field values populated.






Syncing Past Submissions


To sync submissions that were received before the integration was set up:


  1. Click the menu on the Monday.com integration card
  2. Select Sync now
  3. Confirm in the dialog


Note: This may create duplicates if submissions were previously synced.


Batch sync is limited to the latest 10,000 submissions.

Formester can map to the following Monday.com column types:


  • Text
  • Long Text
  • Email
  • Phone
  • Numbers
  • Date
  • Checkbox
  • Link
  • Rating
  • Status
  • Hour
  • Color Picker




Troubleshooting


No boards appearing?


Make sure you selected a connected account and that your Monday.com workspace has at least one board.


Items not syncing?


Check that the integration toggle is enabled (green) on the integration card.


Duplicate items after batch sync?


The sync does not check for existing items. Use batch sync only when setting up for the first time.
