Connect Formester to Monday.com


Every time someone fills out your Formester form, their answers appear automatically as a new item on your Monday.com board — no copy-pasting, no missed responses.


How it works:
Form submitted → Formester sends the response → New item appears on your board → Your team can act immediately



Installation


Step 1 — Install Formester from the Monday.com Marketplace


Open Monday.com, go to the Marketplace, and search for Formester or use this Install Link . Click Install to add it to your workspace.



Setting up a Workflow


Step 1 — Open Workflows and add a new workflow


In Monday.com, open the board where you want form responses to appear. Click Workflows in the top navigation, then click + Add workflow to create a new one.


Step 2 — Add the Formester trigger


Inside the workflow builder, click + Add trigger and search for Formester. Select Formester Form Submitted as the trigger — this tells Monday to start the workflow whenever someone submits your form.


Step 3 — Connect your Formester account


A panel will open asking you to connect your Formester account. Click Connect Formester and sign in with your Formester credentials.


First time? You'll be taken to Formester's sign-in page and then redirected back to Monday automatically. Your account stays connected for future workflows.


Step 4 — Select which form to use


After connecting your account, a dropdown shows all the forms in your Formester workspace. Choose the form whose responses you want to flow into this board.


Step 5 — Map your form fields to board columns


Match each field from your form (e.g. Name, Email, Message) to the corresponding column on your Monday board. Fields you don't map are simply skipped.


Tip: If your board doesn't have the right columns yet, add them in Monday before coming back to this step. Any column type works — text, numbers, dates, and more.


Step 6 — Add an action and publish


Click + Add action, choose Create item, and confirm the board. When you're happy with the setup, click Publish. From this point on, every new form submission will create an item on your board automatically.



Common questions


How quickly do items appear on my Monday board?
Usually within a few seconds of someone submitting the form. During very high-traffic moments there can be a short delay, but items are never lost — they queue up and arrive in order.


Can I connect more than one form to the same board?
Yes. Repeat the setup for each form and point them all to the same board. Each form can map to the same columns or different ones.


What happens to old submissions when I first connect?
Only new submissions (made after you set up the workflow) are sent to Monday. Existing responses in Formester stay where they are and are not synced retroactively.


My form has a file upload field — will the file appear in Monday?
File fields will appear as a link in the mapped Monday column. Clicking the link downloads the file from Formester.


Something isn't working — what should I check?
First make sure the workflow is published and active. Then check that your Formester account is still connected (you can reconnect from the same trigger setup panel). If items are arriving but columns are blank, re-check your field-to-column mapping.
