Single sign-on (SSO)
Single sign-on lets people prove who they are with a work account they already have, instead of a Formester password. One connection to a company's directory covers both uses below.
Available on: Enterprise.
Start here: connect a directory
Every use of SSO begins with a connection. Set one up, test it, and activate it.
- Set up single sign-on (SSO) with Microsoft Entra
- Route 1: Formester's app, the shorter route, with nothing to register
- Route 2: your own app registration, when your IT team owns the directory side
- Rotating the secret
- Troubleshooting the connection
Microsoft Entra is the directory Formester connects to today.
Then choose what the connection is for
One connection can do both at once.
Protect a form
Only that company's staff can open the form, and every response records who signed in. Respondents never get a Formester account.
Sign in to Formester
Your own team opens Formester with their work account, and you can require it for everyone in your organization.
