Card-style forms
How to Create Multi-Page Forms
Breaking a long form into multiple pages improves user experience, increases completion rates, and makes complex forms easier to navigate. Formester allows you to create multi-page forms with a clean, card-style layout, and also lets you add welcome pages, logos, banners, and more.
Why Use Multi-Page Forms
Multi-page forms improve readability by allowing users to focus on one question or section at a time. They increase completion rates because shorter pages feel less overwhelming. Grouping related questions together makes your form better organized, and each page can have its own layout, images, and styling for enhanced design flexibility.
Log In and Create Your Form
Start by logging into your Formester account. Open an existing form or create a new form from scratch. Add all the fields you want to include in your form, such as questions, options, and input fields.
Split Your Form Into Pages
At the bottom of the page, click on the three dots next to the page title. Select “One field per page”. This will automatically break your form into a card-style layout, placing each question on its own page.
Add a Welcome Page
You can add a welcome page at the beginning of your form. This page introduces your form, provides instructions, or sets expectations for the respondents before they start answering questions.
Add Branding Elements
Upload your company or event logo to brand your form. You can also add a banner image to make your form visually appealing and professional.
Design Each Page
Customize the layout, colors, and images for each page. Make sure the styling and fonts are consistent across pages for a cohesive experience. Preview your form to check the flow, readability, and visual design before publishing.
Publish and Share
Once your multi-page form is ready, publish it. Share the form via URL or embed it on your website. The card-style layout ensures a smooth experience for respondents, improving both completion rates and the quality of the responses collected.
Multi-page forms in Formester allow you to create professional, engaging, and user-friendly forms that are easier for respondents to complete.
