How to Use Unique Links and Progress Tracking in Your Forms

Unique Links let you send each user a personal link to your form. This helps you control one submission per user, track their progress, and send reminders without chasing anyone by hand. Follow these steps to set up and use Unique Links in Formester.

Step 1: Create or Choose a Form

Log into your Formester account and click New Form. You can build a form from scratch or start with a template. For this example, let’s create a simple Survey Form.

Step 2: Open the Unique Links Feature

Inside the form builder, go to the left menu and click Unique Links. This is where you create personal links for each user who will fill your form.

Step 3: Add Users

You can add users one by one or upload a list. Formester creates a unique link for every user you add. These links let you track each person’s activity and prevent duplicate submissions.

Step 4: Send Invite Emails

Once your links are ready, click Send Invites.

Write a short message and send emails directly from Formester.

Each user receives their own personal link so you know exactly who responds.

Step 5: Track Progress in Real Time

After you send invites, open the Progress tab to see activity. Here, you can see who opened the form, who started filling it, and who has not touched it yet. You can also see partial progress when users fill only some fields.

Step 6: Set Reminders

If some users have not submitted, click Remind Users. Choose a time and send reminders only to the people who need them. You can also set repeating reminders if your deadline is tight.

Step 7: View Submissions

Go back to the Results tab to view completed entries. You can see responses, partial progress, and all user activity tied to their personal link.
